Emily Walters – Chartered Physiotherapist BSc (Hons) from University of Birmingham
Emily graduated from the University of Birmingham with a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. Whilst at university she did placements in a variety of areas including MSK and general intensive care.
Emily has volunteered for the men’s first XI hockey team at the University of Birmingham providing Pitchside support and acute injury management. To do this she gained her Pitchside trauma management first aid qualification and taping qualification.
After this winter session Emily hopes to become a Physiotherapist for the British Army. This summer she also wants to complete her 200hr yoga teacher training in India and learn to kite surf.
Emily learnt to ski on a dry ski slope when she was 7 and then has been on family and friend ski holidays most years since. This is Emily’s first ski season and she hopes to improve her technique and learn to ski off piste. Off the slopes Emily enjoys playing hockey, running, tennis and yoga. In the summer she also spends a lot time on the water, sailing and paddle boarding as a sailing instructor
