Lindsey Vonn Wins the Super G in Val d'Isère

Val d'Isère has had a fantastic few weeks of Hosting the Men's and Women's World Cup. The town of Val d'Isère worked extremely hard to enable to the races to take place as the weather conditions were difficult. We had a lot snow during the night , however Val d'Isère still managed to have the course ready for the race to take place. It is such a fantastic event and as a family we enjoy it so much. The atmosphere is amazing and to see the top skiers in the world ski is inspirational. My 6 year old daughter had the privilege of meeting Lindsey Vonn. She has been a fan of Lindsey since she saw her ski in Val d'Isère a few years ago. This time Lindsey gave her a big hug and posed with her for some photos. Lindsey was amazing and made my little girl feel so special . Thank you so much Lindsey - you are a great role model to all the young people around the world who love skiing.
